Conditions: Gearheads Network error setting email updates option in user profile. When turning on the email updates the user gets an error that directs them to contact customer support.

Resolution: This is an issue only you can solve yourself. You will need to contact the Mighty Networks Customer Support and explain the issue. They are the only ones who can fix this, and you are the only one who can resolve this because it is related to an error in your account.

After talking to people about this issue, a possible reason for this problem is (this is just a guess); at some point you may have unsubscribed from the Gearheads Network/Mighty Networks mailing list.  Now Mighty Networks has a conflict. In your settings you switch on the email messages but in their email list you have unsubscribed. It's a conflict they aren't handling well so it throws an error.
